This position is responsible for overseeing the hotel's credit and collection operations, minimizing bad debt exposure, and maximizing cash flow. The Credit Manager ensures that credit is extended only to creditworthy clients (such as corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners) and that all outstanding balances are collected in a timely, professional manner, adhering to both hotel policies and local financial regulations. Key Responsibilities 1. Credit Operations & Risk Management Evaluate and process credit applications for corporate accounts, wholesale agents, and large groups/events. Establish credit limits and payment terms based on credit bureau reports, financial statements, and reference checks. Monitor guest ledgers, city ledgers, and advanced deposit ledgers for any potential credit risks or discrepancies. Review and approve high-balance guest accounts daily during their stay. 2. Collections & Accounts Receivable Oversee the timely billing of all city ledger accounts (accounts receivable). Follow up diligently on overdue invoices via phone, email, and formal correspondence. Coordinate with the Sales and Events teams to resolve billing disputes or client queries that may delay payment. Manage the collection process for delinquent accounts, including coordinating with external legal or collection agencies if necessary. 3. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze monthly Aging Reports (Accounts Receivable aging). Conduct monthly credit meetings with the Director of Finance and General Manager to review outstanding debts and write-off risks. Job Description<br><br>We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Housekeeping professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.<br><br>This position is based on City Centre Rotana Doha<br><br>As an Assistant Director of Housekeeping you are responsible to assist the Director of Housekeeping in the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department and guide and develop a committed multicultural team to ensure the impeccable Rotana standards are met in all areas. The role involves bringing all the knowledge and standards required to maintain and surpass the guests highest expectations and will include key responsibilities such as-<br><br> Inspect work to ensure proper standards of cleanliness and revise work schedules depending on the operation and occupancy Supervise periodic cleaning tasks and ensure proper records are kept, inspect rooms and public areas and point out areas for improvement Recommend rooms that need spring cleaning or maintenance in coordination with Engineering and Front Office Coordinate repairs and maintenance with Engineering and ensure that proper records are kept for rooms as in a Room History record Determine discards of linen, towels, blankets and all other worn out items and recommend new purchases as and when needed Ensure that uniforms are proper and order new uniforms as and when needed Keep an open channel of communication with subordinates and superiors on a daily basis<br><br>Skills<br><br>Education, Qualifications & Experiences<br><br>You should be a college / university degree graduate with at least three years previous management experiences within the Housekeeping Department of a hotel. Technically you will have fluency in both written and spoken English, whereby additional language skills would be a definite benefit and knowledge of Micros / Opera coupled with administration and organizational computer literacy skills are an essential.<br><br>Knowledge & Competencies<br><br>The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong professional with an eye for detail and a passion for high quality hotel keeping. As we build the local team and hire across several functions, we are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to help bring structure and momentum to a fast-moving operation.<br>Working directly with the Founder, you will provide high-level executive support and oversee the day-to-day coordination of the Doha office. You will act as a trusted link between the Founder, leadership team, employees and external partners around the world.<br>The role will initially include elements of business and office management. As the team grows, it could evolve into a broader operational or Chief of Staff position for the right person.<br>The role<br>- Manage the Founder’s diary, international travel, correspondence and priorities.- Coordinate leadership and board meetings, including agendas, materials and follow-up actions.- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Doha office, including facilities and suppliers.- Support recruitment, onboarding and the employee experience as the local team expands.- Coordinate internal communications, reporting and company meetings.- Track decisions and actions, ensuring priorities continue to move forward.- Support operational and strategic projects for the Founder and executive team.- Anticipate issues, solve problems and handle sensitive information with discretion.<br>## About you<br>You are organised, proactive and comfortable working closely with senior leaders in a changing environment.
