The <strong>Munitions Technician</strong> receives, stores, inspects, tests, transports and maintains U.S. Air Force (USAF) Munitions, Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE) and supporting resources as applicable to the Site. Operates Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS). May supervise Other Country National (OCN) Munitions Workforce. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).<br><br><strong>Principal Accountabilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Consistently observes and enforces all USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH and security standards during all explosives and non-explosives operations in assigned sites and temporary duty locations. </li><li>In the event of an emergency, takes necessary control and timely response actions. </li><li>Conducts all munitions work according to established quality processes, identifying potential problems and recommending solutions. </li><li>Reconditions, repairs and replaces defective or missing parts of munitions and containers. </li><li>Performs munitions storage actions according to the stringent explosives standards. </li><li>Conducts warehouse inventories and corrects any discrepancies. </li><li>Works closely with operations personnel to resolve any serviceability and accountability issues noted during warehouse operations. </li><li>Prepares and configures munitions shipments for air, sea and surface transportation. </li><li>Uploads/downloads trucks with incoming and outgoing munitions shipments. </li><li>Assists inspecting munitions in accordance with 11A-1-10 and applicable technical orders. </li><li>Assists inspecting munitions brass, residue and containers in accordance with 11A-1-60. </li><li>Operates assigned TICMS as is applicable to Site's processes. </li><li>Inspects, operates and performs maintenance on light vehicles and handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and manual hoists. </li><li>Inspects and operates metal strapping equipment, stencil machines, heat sealers, pneumatic paint guns, air compressors and power tools. </li><li>Inspects and performs minor maintenance on facilities and installed equipment. <li>Assess and advise on SHES/regulatory compliance and performance during onshore and offshore pipeline construction, installation, mechanical completions, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phases, while championing on-site safety awareness and safe performance with the contractor and among the Project Team. Oversee the Project PMT SHES team, providing advice and guidance.</li>
<li>Ensure effective working relationships with the PMT and Contractor's team; Counsels the Company team, contractor, sub-contractor, vendors suppliers as needed. Coordinate the scheduling of SHES field personnel activities to guarantee adequate coverage for project requirements. Advise line management on the resources and equipment necessary for optimal work performance.</li>
<li>Review the Contractor's Project SHES Documents per contract requirements and provide technical feedback. Facilitate SHES audits and inspections to comply with the project SHES activity schedule and Company contract requirements.</li>
<li>Coordinates the control of contractor's project activities with particular note of compliance with approved Project SHES procedures, during onshore and offshore pipeline construction, installation, mechanical completions, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phases.</li>
<li>Facilitate the identification, assessment, and management of SHES risks in line with the SHES management system, Risk Management standard, and ALARP principles. Participate in the review of risk assessments for all critical activities and confirm that the residual risks are As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) prior to work commencement.</li>
<li>Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of the training program for project personnel. Verify that training programs are executed according to Project contract requirements and SHES Plan.</li>
<li>Coordinate periodic meetings with the Contractor to review progress and report on Project SHES performance. Ensure weekly and monthly SHES meetings are organized by the Contractor as per contract requirements. Report consolidated weekly and monthly SHES performance to the Project SHES Division Manager. Ensure the Contractor performs trend analysis on all incidents and observation/action cards and includes the results in periodic reports. Support and facilitate site SHESsteering committee meetings with the Contractor SHES Counterpart.</li>
<li>Drive safety culture transformation through leadership, communication, and engagement at all project organization levels by supporting the implementation of Incident and Injury Free program incoordination with the Contractor SHES counterpart. Participate in the Weekly Management tour and subsequent debriefing, ensuring findings are recorded by the Contractor in the SHES Action Tracking Register as per contract requirement).</li>
<li>Implement a culture of open and transparent reporting of SHES concerns, near misses and incidents. Ensure that all reportable and recordable incidents are reported by the Contractor within the timeframe. Participate in the Contractor's incident investigations and root cause analysis sessions</li>
<li>Ensure information, lessons learned, and safety messages are disseminated to the workforce and posted on project safety boards. Ensure adequate Emergency Response arrangements are in place, including trained emergency personnel and appropriate equipment.</li>
