Lead and manage the development and delivery of an effective reporting/metrication capability in order to articulate and manage Demand Management performance. Ensure trends are captured to inform risk/opportunity management and planning activity. Ensure escalated issues are assessed, effective solutions generated and monitored, or sponsor escalation to management, as appropriate. Mentoring the QEAF staff in the repair activities as they join the MOB Organisation from the QTI.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>Performance indicators – Ensure the effective management of Demand Management activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance improvement programmes. Prioritises activities within/across teams to maximise efficiency. Represents the Demand Management Manager at manager reviews, where necessary. Responsible for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact on Continuing Airworthiness, operational/process performance and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation to management, as appropriate. Completion of activities – Ensure all Demand Management activities are appropriately documented and the appropriate airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Ensure all Demand Management activities are performed by suitably qualified, experienced and authorised personnel. Ensure the integration of Demand Management activity within the business, including the engagement of key stakeholders at all stages of the process. Provide support and guidance to the team(s). We are currently looking for an experienced Transportation & Installation (T&I) Lead – Pre-Commissioning & De-Commissioning to lead and supervise pipeline pre-commissioning and offshore de-commissioning activities for greenfield and brownfield projects.<br><br>Location: Qatar<br>Industry: Oil & Gas<br>Employment Type: Contract<br>Project: North Field Production Sustainability – COMP3<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Lead and supervise pipeline pre-commissioning activities covering flooding, cleaning, gauging, hydrostatic testing, inline inspection, dewatering, drying and nitrogen purging.<br>Lead offshore de-commissioning activities for existing live pipelines, including pipeline isolation, depressurization, flushing, cleaning and subsea pipeline removal.<br>Manage the Contractor’s complete pipeline pre-commissioning and de-commissioning scope from engineering planning through offshore execution and closeout.<br>Review and approve Contractor philosophies, execution strategies and method statements.<br>Review engineering calculations for hydrotest pressure, test duration, fill volumes, pig train configuration, dewatering flow rates, drying criteria, nitrogen requirements and temporary equipment.<br>Support engineering teams in defining de-commissioning boundaries, pipeline status, contents and isolation requirements.<br>Coordinate with Contractors, Offshore Operations, VMT, diving, ROV, marine and HSE teams to ensure safe execution.<br>Ensure activities comply with SIMOPS, HSE, environmental and marine requirements.<br>Lead and monitor marine vessel mobilization for offshore execution.<br>Ensure quality execution onboard vessels and JUBs.<br>Manage punch lists, technical queries, site queries and non-conformances.<br>Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to offshore teams during execution.<br>Support offshore changes, deviations and unexpected field conditions, including development of recovery plans and Management of Change.<br>Ensure safe subsea de-commissioning using technical plugs and other de-commissioning tools.<br>Requirements<br>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Subsea Engineering.<br>Minimum 8 years of offshore installation experience on vessels in Transportation & Installation activities, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.<br>Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Engineer or Site Supervisor onboard installation vessels, with relevant experience in subsea de-commissioning activities.<br>Extensive knowledge of subsea pipeline pre-commissioning and de-commissioning, pipeline pigging, subsea isolation plugs and de-commissioning tools.<br>Extensive experience in pre-commissioning vessel supervision.<br>Strong knowledge of applicable international standards, including DNV-ST-F101, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API and ISO pipeline/offshore standards.<br>Experience in submarine pipeline de-commissioning, including the use of technical isolation plugs for safe isolation and abandonment.<br>Previous experience with major operators or LNG company and knowledge of LNG company PTW systems would be desirable.<br><br><br><strong>People </strong>are our business<strong> worldwide<br></strong> <br>Orion Group was founded in 1987 and is now one of the largest, independent, international recruitment companies.
