We are looking for a warm, creative and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our growing team, helping to build an exceptional play-based and inquiry-led learning environment for our youngest students within the IB PYP Early Years framework.<br><br>The role:<br><br>We seek an individual to join as Early Years Teacher where your focus will be:<br><br><br>Planning and delivering engaging, play-based and inquiry-led learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP Early Years framework Creating and maintaining a nurturing, safe and stimulating learning environment where all children feel valued and inspired Assessing and tracking children's development using observations and portfolio evidence; using this to inform next steps Building strong, collaborative partnerships with parents and families through regular communication and engagement Contributing to the planning, reflection and review of units of inquiry in collaboration with the Early Years team Promoting the IB learner profile, international-mindedness and the PYP attitudes in all aspects of classroom practice Supporting children's wellbeing, independence and social-emotional development Contributing positively to the wider EGA school community, including CPD, school events and improvement activities<br><br><br>The Successful Candidate will possess:<br><br><br>A recognised teaching qualification in Early Years, primary or early childhood education (PGCE, QTS, B. Ed or equivalent) Experience teaching in an Early Years setting with children aged 3-6, ideally within an IB or international school Knowledge of the IB PYP Early Years framework or equivalent inquiry-based early years curriculum A strong understanding of child development theory and play-based, child-initiated learning approaches Excellent communication skills and a warm, nurturing approach to working with young children and families A commitment to inclusive practice and the wellbeing of all children A commitment to safeguarding and child protection International school experience desirable<br><br><br>About Us<br><br>Please see full job description here.<br><br>Nord Anglia Education is the world's leading international schools organisation.
