Colleague Relations: Conduct refresher trainings for Spa Concierge and Spa Attendants. Refresher trainings include departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Review of all SOP Checklists for all colleagues are in order and training hours are tracked. Update Training Matrix accordingly. Job Summary<br>We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in the Travel & Tourism industry to oversee the financial operations of our travel business. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in travel accounting, BSP/IATA reconciliations, airline and supplier settlements, corporate travel billing, financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance. The role requires a commercially driven finance professional capable of supporting business growth while maintaining robust financial controls. Key Responsibilities<br>Financial Management Oversee all accounting and finance functions for the Travel & Tours division. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities. Monitor profitability across business segments including leisure travel, corporate travel, MICE, visa services, inbound and outbound tourism. Prepare management reports highlighting revenue, margins, expenses, and profitability. Budgeting & Financial Planning Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Monitor departmental budgets and analyze budget variances. Prepare financial models for new business opportunities. Support management in strategic financial planning. Revenue & Cost Control Monitor ticketing revenues, tour package sales, hotel bookings, transportation, visa services, and ancillary income. Analyze gross margins by supplier, airline, destination, and business segment. Control operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement financial controls to improve profitability. BSP / IATA & Airline Accounting Manage BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) reconciliations. Reconcile airline ticket sales and refunds. Ensure timely settlement with airlines through IATA BSP. Review ADM (Agency Debit Memo) and ACM (Agency Credit Memo). Handle airline incentive calculations and commission reconciliations. Supplier & Vendor Management Reconcile accounts with airlines, hotels, DMCs, cruise operators, transport providers, and global suppliers. Monitor supplier payments and credit terms. Resolve supplier disputes and reconciliation issues. Corporate Client Billing Oversee invoicing for corporate travel accounts. Monitor receivables and collection cycles. Ensure timely customer collections. Review credit limits and customer exposure. Cash Flow Management Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts. Monitor liquidity and working capital. Optimize cash utilization. Coordinate banking activities. Financial Compliance Ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies. Manage VAT/GST (where applicable) and tax compliance. Coordinate annual audits. Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. Team Leadership Lead and mentor the finance team. Review work performed by accountants and finance executives. Establish KPIs and monitor team performance. Promote continuous process improvement. Internal Controls Strengthen financial governance and internal controls. Monitor fraud risks and financial irregularities. Ensure compliance with company approval matrix. Improve financial systems and reporting processes. ERP & Systems Utilize ERP/accounting software for financial reporting. Coordinate with ticketing systems such as Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport. Ensure integration between reservation systems and accounting platforms. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA preferred. MBA (Finance) is an advantage.<br>Experience7–10+ years of finance experience. Minimum 3–5 years in the Travel & Tourism industry. Experience in IATA-accredited travel agencies is highly preferred. GCC/Qatar experience is preferred. Experience handling multi-branch travel operations is an advantage.
