The<br><br>Demand Forecast & Planning (DF&P) Operator is responsible for the provision<br><br>of demand forecasting, planning and optimisation of inventory requirements and<br><br>usage. Ensure the supply chain maintains appropriate levels of repairable and<br><br>consumable assets to meet customer requirements. Manage, analyse and report<br><br>inventory spend against budget and forecasting forward spend projections.<br><br>Responsible for maintenance and update of inventory forecasting system(s).<br><br>Gathering information and analysis of data to aid demand forecasting.<br><br>Core Activity<br><br>Support the development, production and delivery of accurate inventory forecasts, using data analysis and scenario/options modelling to inform strategic decision making and determine the inventory requirements for the fleet. Support the development and delivery of the DF&P capabilities (including IT infrastructure), ensuring alignment to current and future business strategies. Support the management of inventory through planning, stock positioning, monitoring item condition and ensuring product availability balancing service against budget. Support under supervision the ability to minimise expenditure through the exploration of all alternative sources of supply. The ability to determine the most appropriate asset solution (repair, overhaul or provide spare). The ability to provide repair scheduling tasking into repair bay facilities. Support the maintaining of forecasting parameters to include calculation methods and parts classification (ABC Analysis). The ability to enact purchase order requests with appropriate and affordable supply chain solutions through an approval process. Support the planning of components into maintenance to ensure compliance with the Operator Maintenance Programme, Mandated requirements, applicable technical instructions and capability embodiment programmes. Support the ability to define and maintain forecasting parameters to include calculation methods and parts classification (ABC analysis). Support the ability to enact purchase order requests with appropriate and affordable supply chain solutions through an approval process. Ensure both internal and external customers receive the level of service expected of business KPIs; specifically the QEAF Typhoon Fleet receives what they need on time and to the highest quality. Conduct analysis and interpretation of Supply Chain data to identify repetitive problems and inform appropriate stakeholders. Where appropriate, support the implementation of any corrective action. Mentoring the QEAF staff as they join the MOB Organisation from the Qatar Technical Institute.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>Performance indicators – Provide effective provision of DF&P activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting on any impact on Continuing Airworthiness, operational/process performance. Understand how individual actions contribute to overall delivery performance. Completion of activities – Ensure all DF&P activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Compile required reporting, identify any issues and escalate as appropriate. Procedure/standards – Comply with the MAI CAME, its associated procedures and standards, and any other AM&S or company procedures and standards, as applicable. Identify and propose changes, as required. Safety Management System – Ensure Human Factors and Error Management philosophies are applied to all DF&P activities. Understand the risks associated with DF&P and the means by which they are mitigated and managed. Management System Assurance – Ensure DF&P activities are compliant with the Governance and Assurance framework, including supporting process confirmations and independent assurance audits. <span>Purpose is to carry out tasks related to the processing of employees’ visas and government related documents and ensures compliance with immigration and other relevant regulations. Responsible for the daily activities related to Government Relations including visa and license applications. Maintains open lines of communication with various Government and Municipal agencies. Create and maintain filing systems. Create and type office correspondence using a computer. Distribute and route mail. Answer phone calls and record messages. Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding Government Relations, policies and guidelines. Ensure accurate maintenance of all records and files.<br>Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Finance, this position directly oversees two critical accounting operational pillars: <strong>Cost Control</strong> and <strong>Income Audit</strong>.<br> <br> </div> <div> <br>The primary objective is to safeguard hotel assets, maximize profitability through rigorous expense tracking and waste reduction, and guarantee the absolute accuracy of all revenue streams across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and auxiliary outlets.<br> <br> </div> <div> <strong> <br>Departmental Leadership & Management<br> </strong> <br> </div> <ul> <li> Lead, mentor, and supervise the Cost Control and Income Audit teams, establishing clear operational KPIs and daily workflows.<br> <br> </li> <li> Ensure full compliance with Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI), local tax laws, and internal financial controls.<br> <br> </li> <li> Serve as the primary operational liaison between Finance and Department Heads (F&B, Procurement, Executive Chef, Front Office) to drive financial compliance.<br> <br> </li> </ul> <div> <strong> <br>2. Cost Control Oversight<br> </strong> <br> </div> <ul> <li> Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cost analysis across Food, Beverage, Operating Supplies, and Equipment (OS&E).<br> <br> </li> <li> Monitor stock movements, receiving procedures, storage standard operating procedures (SOPs), and monthly inventory counts across all outlets and stores.<br> <br> </li> <li> Analyze recipe costs, menu engineering reports, and yield tests alongside the Executive Chef and F&B Director to optimize gross profit margins.<br> <br> </li> <li> Investigate variances between actual vs. standard costs, identifying points of leakage, spoilage, theft, or waste.<br> <br> </li> <li> Review purchasing contracts, purchase orders, and market lists to ensure competitive pricing and budget compliance.<br> <br> </li> </ul> <div> <strong>3. Income Audit Oversight<br> </strong> <br> </div> <ul> <li> Supervise the daily revenue audit process to ensure all guest charges, ledger postings, and non-room revenues are reconciled accurately.<br> <br> </li> <li> Audit daily revenue reports against Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) balances (e.g., Opera, Micros/Simphony).<br> <br> </li> <li> Review rate variances, complimentary stays, house accounts, voided transactions, paid-outs, and manager discounts for proper authorization.<br> <br> </li> <li> Verify cash, credit card, and city ledger settlements, coordinating with Accounts Receivable to clear discrepancies immediately.<br> <br> </li> <li> Oversee surprise float counts for cashiers and general cashier funds across front-of-house departments.<br> <br> </li> </ul> <div> <strong>4. Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing<br> </strong> <br> </div> <ul> <li> Prepare month-end cost of sales reconciliations, inventory valuation reports, and daily/monthly revenue summaries for senior leadership.<br> <br> </li> <li> Assist the Assistant Director of Finance with financial variance analysis, forecast updates, and annual operating budget preparation.<br> <br> </li> <li> Conduct monthly financial review meetings with operational department heads to review cost drivers and revenue leakage.<br> <br> </li> </ul> <div> <strong>Qualifications & Requirements<br> </strong> <br> </div> <ul> <li> <strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field. Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, or CHTP) preferred.<br> <br> </li> <li> <strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum 3 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience in mid-to-large-scale hotel operations, with direct experience in Cost Control and/or Income Audit roles.<br> <br> </li> <li> <strong>Systems Proficiency:</strong> Hands-on experience with hospitality ERPs, PMS (e.g., Opera), F&B POS systems (e.g., Micros/Simphony), inventory/procurement software (e.g., Materials Control, FMC), and advanced MS Excel.<br> <br> </li> <li> <strong>Technical Knowledge:</strong> Strong understanding of USALI standards, yield management, F&B cost dynamics, and revenue control workflows.<br> <br> </li> <li> <strong>Soft Skills:</strong> High analytical aptitude, strong leadership and team development skills, firm ethical standards, and excellent cross-departmental communication.<br> <br> </li> </ul>
