Our client is seeking an experienced Project Reporting Lead(Barzan Restoration) to provide analytical and technical writing expertise and coordinate the delivery of executive-level project reports and presentations.<br><br>The role will be responsible for providing management and stakeholders with clear, accurate, and timely information on project progress, performance, forecasts, trends, risks, and mitigation actions.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Work as a key member of the Integration Team, coordinating and managing governance-related activities across multiple projects.<br>Collect, assemble, integrate, and reformat project progress data, tables, graphs, and photographs to produce executive-level reports and presentations.<br>Coordinate internal and external interfaces and drive alignment and issue resolution through effective communication and collaboration.<br>Ensure consistency and alignment across projects in accordance with established procedures, plans, and governance processes.<br>Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations covering project progress, performance, status, forecasts, trends, deficits, and mitigation actions.<br>Produce timely governance reports, providing transparent visibility and early escalation of potential concerns.<br>Develop, maintain, and report KPIs and project progress metrics through regular reports, dashboards, and presentations.<br>Tailor reports and presentations for different audiences, including management, project teams, and stakeholders.<br>Highlight project progress, blockers, impacts, and areas requiring attention.<br>Respond to ad-hoc reporting and project analysis requests from management and stakeholders.<br>Manage time-sensitive reporting requirements while maintaining accuracy and quality.<br>Work closely with project teams and relevant departments to resolve issues and support effective project planning and execution.<br><br>Minimum Requirements<br>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.<br>Minimum 8 years of experience in a business-related function or discipline.<br>At least 4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.<br>Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or acting role, or experience overseeing contractors, subcontractors, service providers, or vendors.<br>Experience working with National Oil Companies (NOCs) or International Oil Companies (IOCs) is advantageous.<br><br>Key Skills<br>Excellent written and verbal English skills.<br>Strong technical writing and report preparation skills.<br>Strong Power Point presentation preparation skills.<br>Strong speech development skills.<br>Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.<br>Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.<br>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.<br>Knowledge of Power BI is desirable.<br>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.<br><br>Preferred Experience<br>Experience in project reporting, project governance, project controls, management reporting, technical writing, dashboards, and executive-level presentations would be highly relevant to this position.<br><br><br>People are our business worldwide<br> <br>Orion Group was founded in 1987 and is now one of the largest, independent, international recruitment companies.
