• Perform repair tasks such as upkeeps and cleaning.
• Apply basic fixes to equipment and perform any preventative maintenance when required.
• Ensure that facilities are tidy and functional.
• Stay within the guidelines of company policy and procedures and comply with all legal requirements within Qatar.
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them.
• Inspect, install and repair machines, equipment, or systems as necessary.
• Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, replacing light bulbs etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, etc.
• Test the functionality of the facility’s safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
• Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and facility expansions.
• Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress.
• Perform any other task as assigned by the Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid Qatar Driving License (Manual Transmission) – Required.
