Key aspects of the role include:
- Review and evaluate compliance-related issues within the company.
- Assist in monitoring and assessing the organization's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes and systems.
- Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and assist in the development and execution of compliance monitoring programs.
- Prepare and present compliance-related reports.
Skills
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or similar. Professional certifications in compliance are highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Compliance Officer or similar in a reputed law firm.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to draft high-quality communication material.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
