Assist Senior mechanics in diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, inspection, repair and implementing corrective actions on mobile and crawler cranes. Ensure proper collection and disposal of hazardous waste generated during maintenance activities. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to motors, pumps, hydraulics, and other systems. Operate and maintain both simple and complex heavy industrial equipment. Maintain and manage personal tools, including an up-to-date documented personal tools list, service records or work orders and reports. Manage time effectively to complete assigned work orders within deadlines. Foster and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and clients. Participate in training programs as assigned by the Supervisor. Work flexibly across all shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on job demands. Follow safety and operational procedures of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) throughout the execution of assigned tasks. Comply with company and client regulations and policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or automotive technology.
- 2 5 years of experience in a mechanical or maintenance of heavy equipment or cranes.
- Basic knowledge and experience of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
