Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items.

  • Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
  • Support the Sr. Chef and Bakery team in daily mise-en-place.
  • Ensure all baked products are consistent in quality, taste, and appearance.
  • Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all bakery ingredients.
  • Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.).
  • Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and waste reduction.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure timely preparation for buffet setups, events, and daily service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

Previous experience in bakery or pastry (hotel experience preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and pastry fundamentals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn.
