Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items.
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Support the Sr. Chef and Bakery team in daily mise-en-place.
- Ensure all baked products are consistent in quality, taste, and appearance.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all bakery ingredients.
- Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.).
- Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and waste reduction.
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely preparation for buffet setups, events, and daily service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience in bakery or pastry (hotel experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and pastry fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn.
