Job description
Working as part of Radiology’s multi-disciplinary team, the Coordinator - Patient Imaging, under the direction of the Supervisor - Patient Imaging and Scheduling, provides excellent patient-focused care whilst performing accurate and timely scheduling activities at both the Out- and In-Patient Radiology sites for all modalities including complex DI/Radiology anesthesia scheduling. S/he provides courteous and efficient assistance for all patients, their families and other internal and external visitors / callers to Radiology. The scope and purpose are to provide frontline operational support to the clinical Radiology facility so that patients receive efficient and timely patient-centered care. The Coordinator - Patient Imaging performs basic reception/ registration activities in support of the Radiology Processing Officer and may also perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor - Patient Imaging and Scheduling.
