Job Details

Primary Purpose of the Job
• Requires high‑level judgment to support supervisory decisions.
• Coordinates across multiple units under tight timelines.
• Exposure to toxic gases, high temperatures, and emergency conditions.
• Works 12‑hour rotating shifts including nights and holidays.
• Maintains continuous situational awareness across shift roles.

Required Experience and Skills
Minimum Experience:
• 8 years refinery/chemical plant operations experience.
• 3 years as Senior Operator or equivalent.
Skills / Competencies:
• Strong panel operation and troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to read and integrate multiple shift logs and datasets.
• Ability to act in supervisory capacity when delegated.
• High safety awareness and compliance discipline.
• Strong communication and coordination skills. Good oral and reading knowledge of English.
• Competent with APC, RIS, LIMS, DCS, SAP.
• Certified in Firefighting, First Aid, BA/H₂S.

Educational Qualifications
Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent.
HNC/Technical Diploma in Chemical/Process Engineering preferred.
