Perform GRP lamination works including hand lay-up, wrapping, and structural repairs.
Repair damaged GRP pipes, joints, tanks, and linings as per approved repair procedures.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and roughening prior to lamination.
Mix resins, catalysts, and hardeners in correct ratios as per manufacturer specifications.
Apply fiberglass mats, woven roving, and resins to achieve the required thickness and strength.
Ensure proper curing, finishing, and surface quality of laminated components.
Carry out thickness checks and visual inspections to meet quality requirements.
Follow approved Method Statements, ITPs, and HSE procedures at site.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safe handling of chemicals and materials.
Coordinate with supervisors, QC inspectors, and engineers during lamination activities.
RequirementsITI / Trade Certificate in GRP / FRP / Composite works or relevant experience.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a GRP Laminator in oil & gas or industrial projects.
Hands-on experience with GRP resins, fiberglass materials, and repair techniques.
Knowledge of curing processes, resin systems, and safety practices.
Experience working in confined spaces and plant environments is an advantage.
Should have a valid QID
