Primary Purpose of the JobAdvise and Support on Maintenance strategies, process, objectives, and implementation plans to move Dukhan Operations to a world-class performance level in terms of safety, reliability, production efficiency and unit costs.
- Advise on maintenance performance improvement transformation using national and international best practices moving Operation from “good” to “great” based on International Industrial Benchmarks including leading the performance-benchmarking program to identify performance gaps and to develop continuous improvement initiatives that improve performance.
- Ensure development of the supporting procedures, templates, forms, workflows to ensure processes are detailed and implementations methodologies are clear and aligned with roles and responsibilities within different parties.
- Develops the performance measurement framework for maintenance execution, including but not limited to, enhanced work processes, KPIs, scorecards.
- Constant analysis of the maintenance processes performance gaps and recommend solutions to keep abreast on benchmark standings and ensure sustainability.
- Develops processes control and quality methodology to establish quality assurance in the entire spectrum of maintenance activities.
- Creates and manages measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes and Work as a change management agent in the department, steering the implementation and recommended solutions considering the impact of the changes in all aspects.
- Leads all activities of CMMS (SAP) team, which controls and governs maintenance work and data.
- Assess the current maintenance practices, determine the effectiveness of the current processes, analyse the performance and benchmarking the results. Establish the innovative OE R&M execution culture of learning, responsibility, accountability, compliance and continuous improvement as “the way we work” against job description, mandates and objectives.
Required Experience and Skills- Minimum of 10 years’ experience, of which at least 5 years in leadership positions in Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and/or Operation Excellence/Readiness manager positions covering upstream production and downstream processing, preferably in an International Oil Corporation (IOC) and / or maintenance provider.
- Competence with setting up, leading, managing and delivering Reliability.
- maintenance delivery programmes i.e. Operational Excellence program.
- Competence with implementing Maintenance methodologies in complex international multi- cultural environment.
- Experience with building Maintenance organisational capability in different cultures (i.e. Europe, Far and Middle East, Africa and/or Latin America) including Nationalisation programmes, setting up a performance culture and aligning internal/external functional and service providers.
- Experience with Commercial agreements, supply chain management and contracting.
Educational QualificationsUniversity degree in relevant engineering discipline, possible with additional training and working in Reliability and/or Maintenance execution roles, project and/or programmes.
