Skilled Arabic-English receptionist is required
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Register new patients and update existing patient information
- Verify insurance information and collect copayments when required
- Maintain patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle basic billing, forms, and administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or EMR systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with insurance verification and billing procedures
- Customer service experience in a medical or clinical environment
