We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven L&D Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments, particularly within startups or early-stage organisations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and executing Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives while driving organisational development programs that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Design & Development
Develop technical and behavioural competency frameworks and translate them into clear development pathways. Design, test, and implement learning tools, methods, and blended learning solutions tailored to the organisational context. Act as an internal subject matter expert, advisor, and lead designer for digital and in-person learning programmes.
Learning Needs Analysis
Lead learning needs analysis at company, department, and individual levels. Utilise insights to design targeted development solutions and close capability gaps.
Learning Delivery & Evaluation
Deliver and roll out training programmes using a variety of instructional methods. Analyse post-programme feedback and conduct After-Action Reviews to refine future delivery.
Change & Project Management
Work with leaders to embed new capabilities and support change management initiatives. Apply project management principles to ensure L&D initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.
Data, Reporting & Governance
Maintain accurate learning records and utilise data to drive a data-led L&D approach. Contribute to digitisation and continuous improvement of L&D processes.
Qatarisation Support
Provide guidance and development solutions for trainees and national talent, aligned with defined competency frameworks
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in HR, Adult Education, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree in HR Development or Adult Education (preferred).
Experience
5-7 years of relevant L&D experience required.10+ years preferred, ideally within the industrial sector. Strong grounding in instructional design, blended learning, and competency-based development.
Technical Skills
Experience with LMS platforms, ideally SAP Success Factors. Familiarity with digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360). Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
Behavioural Skills
High EQ, strong communication skills, and ability to influence stakeholders. Able to manage multiple priorities, solve problems proactively, and collaborate across functions. Business acumen and an understanding of organisational development principles.
