Key accountabilities:
- Maintain an understanding of the company processes and participate and support this process to minimize SHE incidents.
- Facilitate oversight and supervision towards the maintenance discipline activities performed by the section at the main complex and remote platforms, utilizing company safe work practices and in compliance with applicable maintenance processes and procedures.
- Review work notifications and the RBWS process, to verify the planning and scheduling of activities within section will ensure compliance and will secure safe, reliable and efficient operations.
- Assure that the maintenance history is updated in the required work order in line with the established requirement of work order close out process, including accurate records of all completed work, as detailed within the SAP Maintenance Management system.
- Support troubleshooting of field equipment issues, faults and failures though investigation using P&IDs, technical equipment drawings, BOM Index, equipment data sheets and other documents to rectify anomalies and reinstate equipment.
- Implement regular toolbox meetings within section and ensure reporting of all Near Miss Incidents and events during activities via the appropriate observation reporting system.
- Ensure hazard identification assessments, JSA’s and LMRA’s and all mandatory requirements are completed prior to the issue of a PTW and that the identified mitigations measurers remain in place prior to work commencement and throughout the work activities until completion.
- Review and recommend maintenance section budget input, including spares and materials, whilst implementing monitoring and control measures for section expenditure in line with department objectives and in alignment with all maintenance disciplines to achieve department KPIs.
- Review of all outstanding observations related with the audit/RCFA/CAR/Safety observation and complete the implementation of recommended actions before established deadline.
- Produce constructive input and feedback on field expansion issues to department focal point and participate in FEED, HAZOPS, RS/FRA’s, field completion activities, commissioning, and warranty/punch work with PMT and EPC contractor, as directed by management.
Skills
Experience:
8 years of diversified experience in oil/gas or petrochemical industry, of which 7 years within a field maintenance environment and 3 years at supervisory level. Offshore environment experience is required. Experience in discipline including major overhauling and troubleshooting experience.
Qualifications:
Higher National Diploma in engineering majoring in one of the core disciplines (i.e., mechanical or instrument or electrical).
