JOB PURPOSE:

This position holds the overall responsibility as clients’ representative (Several projects) for project delivery from conceptualization to close out phase ensuring adherence to project budget and project schedule. This position ensures the alignment with the business objectives of the company and provides the required leadership for the team.

Establishes and approves policies, procedures and processes for the clients’ representative team, and sets standards and benchmarks.

Formulates and implements effective market competitive methodologies related to project management, site engineering and technical support.

Oversees the project development budget by consultant, forecast projection, schedule and quality standards.

Supervises the design development and works closely with design lead and design consultant(s).

Oversees the development of detailed project plans and works closely with the supervision consultant team/lead during the early stages of the project and ensures the formulation of appropriate contractual clauses to protect the interest of the company.

Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness interpretation to support implementation.

Review and recommend certification of payments in a consistency with the contract terms.

Assist in vendor evaluation discussions to award contracts based on timelines, quality of operations, materials and overall budget.

JOB / PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• Post-graduation related to construction/project management.

• Rich project management experience spanning 15+ years in handling buildings and construction projects; Minimum 5 years of relevant Construction experience in the GCC market.

• Experience in handling large projects simultaneously with hands-on expertise in commercial and contractual terms.

• Should have a deep understanding of pre-contracting activities like RFIs, RFPs.

• Working knowledge of real estate development and construction laws and regulations.

• Experience in working with Government officials, design consultants and contractors in Doha/GCC would be an advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills including high proficiency in English/Arabic.

• Execution experience of at least one project in segments such as Residential and commercial covering the entire range of activities including Civil, Architecture, Fitout, Electrical, Mechanical, Firefighting, and Landscaping.
