We're currently recruiting a Contract & Procurement Manager.
Mission
Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage contractual and procurement matters to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and support the organization's strategic objectives. you will oversee the development of, and the management of the procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, as well as overseeing contract negotiations, compliance, and providing contractual guidance to various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements comply with legal regulations and organizational policies.
- Provide contractual advice and support to management and departments on various contractual issues.
- Manage disputes and coordinate with external consultants as needed.
- Monitor and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating legal and contractual risks.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective contract management and compliance.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets and reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
- Handle procurement-related issues and resolve disputes with suppliers.
- Manage stock and the Warehouse
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB), Business Administration (BBA), Engineering (BEng), or a related field.
- Minimum 14 years of overall experience.
- At least 07 years in a similar role.
- Strong contractual and procurement knowledge; excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills; proficiency inMS Office Suite.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
