• To lead a team of Quantity Surveyors by organizing, assigning and reviewing their works.
• To ensure best utilization of resources to maximize profitability of project.
• Preparation of estimates, budgets, cost report and cash flows.
• Review and comment on bids and contract awarded or newly acquired projects.
• Estimating the value of engineering options and lifecycle costs.
• Establishes and maintain program cost database.
• Manages and assigns works to a QS under his/her team.
• Evaluates and reviews work done by a QS.
• Support and encourages his team regarding the value of productivity in a minimum period of time.
• Assist in claims preparations in coordination with the Project Manager/Director.
• Provides advice on contractual claims.
• Coordination with the Management, Consultant and Contractors.
• Carry out monthly valuations of works in progress including forecasting of final costs and sales.
• Provide financial report to management or client as required.
• Ensures that all procedure, standards, and specifications are met by the work done from his/her team.
• Prepares monthly progress payments.

Skills

• University Degree in Engineering.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• With construction background.
• 5 to 15 years relevant work experience.
