Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel / Legal Consultant to provide strategic legal support across corporate, commercial, real estate, construction, procurement, and dispute management matters during a critical business period. This is a temporary contract position based in Doha, Qatar.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); a Master's degree or professional legal qualification is an advantage

• Minimum 8–10 years of post-qualification legal experience

• Minimum 8 years' experience with a reputable international or regional law firm is mandatory

• Proven expertise in corporate, commercial, real estate, construction, procurement, tendering, and dispute management

• Experience supporting developers, government-linked entities, infrastructure projects, PPPs, or large corporate organizations

• Familiarity with the Qatar legal and regulatory framework, or extensive GCC legal practice

• Experience producing executive-level legal advice, risk assessments, and management reports

  
  

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and construction-related agreements

• Capable of identifying contractual, regulatory, and commercial risks while providing practical legal solutions

• Experience supporting tenders, PPP projects, concession agreements, and procurement documentation

• Adept at coordinating litigation, arbitration, external counsel, and dispute resolution activities

• Effective legal risk assessment, governance advisory, and executive stakeholder management

• Proven ability to manage high-value legal matters independently while maintaining strict confidentiality

• Experience utilizing legal AI platforms such as Harvey, Legora, or equivalent for legal research, contract review, drafting, and document analysis is highly preferred
