Responsibilities
Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and checklists for solar plant construction and commissioning.
Conduct inspections of solar modules, inverters, transformers, electrical systems, and civil works to ensure compliance with standards.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, test certificates, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Ensure adherence to Qatar Energy requirements, ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and local regulatory codes.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Inspect and verify materials, equipment, and components delivered to site against approved specifications.
Identify, document, and track NCRs; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with QA/QC standards.
Recommend improvements in processes, procedures, and quality standards for solar plant projects.
Ensure QA/QC activities align with HSE requirements, especially in handling electrical systems and solar modules.
RequirementsEducational & Certification Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Professional certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, QA/QC training, or equivalent.
Specialized training/experience in solar plant construction and renewable energy projects (mandatory).
Familiarity with QA/QC standards and local regulatory requirements.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and civil works.
Expertise in QA/QC procedures, inspections, and audits.
Ability to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions effectively.
