Job Details

The Storekeeper is responsible for the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of materials, tools, and equipment at site or warehouse. The role ensures proper inventory management, accurate documentation, and compliance with project and company procedures to support uninterrupted site operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against delivery notes and purchase orders.


  • Store materials safely as per material type, specifications, and storage requirements.


  • Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requests.


  • Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory logs.


  • Conduct regular stock checks, physical inventory, and reconciliation.


  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of materials.


  • Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, and site teams for material inspections and approvals.


  • Report shortages, damages, discrepancies, or non-conforming materials.


  • Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store area.


  • Prepare inventory reports and assist in audits when required.



Requirements

Diploma / ITI / High School Certificate (logistics or stores background preferred).


Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in construction or industrial projects.


Experience handling civil, mechanical, electrical, or MEP materials.


Familiarity with inventory systems, bin cards, and material documentation.


Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory records.


Ability to coordinate with site, procurement, and QA/QC teams.


Good organizational and time management skills.


GCC project experience preferred.
