Key Responsibilities

Project Support

• Plan and Assist ininstallation, commissioning, and start-up of new gas turbine compressor units at fabrication yard and offshore platform.
  
• Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure system completeness.
  
• Participate inSIMOPS planning and risk assessments for offshore operations.
  
• Ensure readiness of systems and equipment for commissioning and start-up.
  

Pre-Commissioning , Commissioning & Operations

• PerformPre-Commissioning , Commissioning & Operations on gas turbine compressors and associated systems at fabrication yard and offshore platform.
  
• Monitoroperating parameters, vibration analysis, and performance trends to ensure optimal efficiency.
  
• Validate installation quality and ensure compliance with OEM and project standards.
  

Compliance & Documentation

• Prepare pre-commissioning plans, checklists, and progress reports.
  
• Maintain compliance withAPI, ASME, and offshore safety standards.
  
• UpdateCMMS records and ensure proper documentation for audits.
  
• Support punch list clearance and readiness for commissioning.
  
• Maintain Preservation Records
  

Safety & Environmental

• Ensure strict adherence toHSE policies, PTW system, and offshore safety protocols.
  
• Conduct risk assessments and SIMOPS planning for pre-commissioning operations.
  
• Supportemergency response drills and ensure readiness of firefighting and safety systems.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with project management, operations, and commissioning teams.
  
• Coordinate vendor activities and ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma inMechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  

Certifications preferred

• Offshore survival certification (BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS).
  
• HSE certifications (NEBOSH / OSHA preferred).
  

Experience

• Minimum 10-15 yrs in Pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up  and operation ofgas turbine compressors,/ Gas Turbine Generators with5+ years offshore experience.
  
• Knowledge / hands on experience for SIEMENS / SOLAR packages are preferred.
  
• Familiarity withEPC offshore projects, commissioning, and shutdown activities
  
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams under challenging offshore conditions.
