Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related documentation, formalities, and regulatory requirements for the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, Immigration, and other government procedures, with proven experience handling visas, QIDs, gate passes, renewals, and employee transfers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all government relations activities to ensure compliance with Qatar’s laws and regulations.
  • Handle visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and transfers for company and project employees.
  • Process Qatar ID (QID), health cards, and medical checkups for new and existing staff.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities including the Ministry of Interior (MOI), Ministry of Labour (MOL), Baladiya, Immigration, Traffic Department, and Municipality for all required documentation and approvals.
  • Prepare and process Gate Pass applications (security passes) for client sites and industrial areas such as Ras Laffan, Mesaieed, and Dukhan.
  • Maintain an accurate and updated database of employee documents, including passports, QIDs, and visa expiry dates, ensuring timely renewals.
  • Liaise with Project Team and HR departments regarding manpower mobilization and demobilization.
  • Ensure full compliance with Qatar Labour Law and company policies at all times.
  • Support HR and Administration teams with attestations, government correspondence, and legal documentation.

Represent the company professionally at various ministries, government offices, and external agencies

Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a PRO in Qatar, preferably in a manpower outsourcing or contracting company.
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar visa procedures, immigration systems, and labour policies.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills with government and semi-government entities.
  • Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple government transactions efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines.
