Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Chef & Operations Lead at PASS THE SALT in Al Wakrah, Qatar. We're seeking a chef who’s passionate about food and ready to step into a leadership role, overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and food preparation. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with a small team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Help oversee inventory, food purchasing, and cost control to support kitchen performance.
- Engage with customers, both in-person and through digital content, representing PASS THE SALT’s brand with charisma and professionalism.
- Participate in video shoots, product promotions, and marketing activities.
- Master the grill—grilling expertise is highly valued.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Be willing to take on more responsibilities and help grow the business.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Experience in culinary arts with some leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and seasonal menu items.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to generate new ideas and solutions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Charismatic and comfortable in front of the camera for content creation.
- A desire to grow into a leadership role and contribute to the development of the business.
