Transportation Coordinator:
This role is responsible for enabling a well – organized day – to – day transportation operation by supporting the Manager – Transport Resources ups in Doha through effective and efficient planning and managing and accomplishing all transportation activities in a timely and economical manner.
You will be overseeing and scheduling day to day activities of the drivers. You will be in frequent contact with the management team regarding fleet and driver status, obstacles faced, poor driver performance and operational issues to ensure quality service is provided to all End User Groups.
You will coordinate with the third party logistics suppliers to ensure that all contractual issues like replacement vehicles, registration, drivers, new vehicles etc. are being completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible in maintenance planning and liaison with User Groups, Corporate Services and third-party logistics.
Requirements:
You need to hold a University Degree or an equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience. A Diploma or related qualification in Logistics will be an added advantage. You should have experience dealing with the third-party logistic supplier contracts and knowledge in vehicle maintenance planning.
Basic knowledge and understanding of State of Qatar road transport laws and regulations will be preferred for this role. We are looking for someone with driving experience which includes customer processing, route delivery procedures and basic security and operational procedures. You should be someone with good organizing and interpersonal skills, an ability to communicate at all levels of organization and conduct research and interpret data. You should have knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
