Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Operating Officer (COO) with proven leadership experience across diverse industries including industrial manufacturing, real estate, managed services, trading distribution, and healthcare. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, strategic growth, and efficiency across our organization. This role reports directly to the CEO and will be instrumental in implementing company-wide initiatives to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee daily operations of the company to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team in the development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Financial Management: Manage and optimize financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for business expansion, strategic partnerships, and new market ventures.
  • Process Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration among team members. Mentor and develop leadership talent within the organization.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards applicable to the industries in which the company operates.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, investors, and board members.


Qualifications:

  • Proven 10+ years of experience as a COO or senior operational leadership role in industrial manufacturing, real estate, managed services, trading distribution, and healthcare industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and achieve results in a complex, multi-site organization.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities and experience managing a diverse team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.
