We’re Hiring: Instrumentation Design Engineer Location: Doha, Qatar Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer to prepare detailed engineering deliverables for oil & gas projects and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities Prepare instrument index, I/O list, loop diagrams, hook-ups, cable schedules, and JB layouts Develop and review P&IDs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Perform instrument sizing and material take-offs (MTO) Review vendor documents and support procurement activities Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, and API standards Provide support during installation and commissioning phases
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, Auto CAD, and SPIExcellent coordination and technical skills
