The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience as a Loss Adjuster, with proven hands-on exposure to general insurance claims .
Core responsibilities and experience should include independent investigation, cause and extent analysis, policy interpretation, liability assessment, quantum evaluation, and preparation of detailed technical reports.
The candidate should have demonstrable experience handling Property All Risks (PAR), Contractors’ All Risks (CAR), Third Party Liability (TPL) and other general lines, including fire, water damage, theft, machinery breakdown, and business interruption (where applicable).
Strong working knowledge of policy wordings, endorsements, deductibles, under-insurance application, depreciation, salvage valuation, and settlement negotiations is essential.
Prior experience liaising with insurers, brokers, insureds, contractors, forensic experts, and legal representatives, as well as familiarity with local regulations and market practices in the GCC, will be a distinct advantage.
