Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AV Pre-Sales & Design Engineer to design, develop, and support integrated Audio-Visual solutions for a wide range of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing client requirements, preparing technical designs and proposals, developing project documentation, and providing technical support throughout the pre-sales process. Key Responsibilities System Design Design integrated AV systems, including but not limited to displays, LED video walls, projectors, audio systems, DSPs, control systems, video conferencing solutions, and AV network infrastructure. Select appropriate equipment based on technical requirements, performance, compatibility, reliability, and budget. Prepare system architecture diagrams, signal flow diagrams, rack layouts, equipment layouts, and other design documentation. Pre-Sales & Tender Support Develop detailed technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQ/BOM), compliance statements, and technical submissions. Review tender specifications and ensure proposed solutions fully comply with or exceed client requirements. Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain quotations, technical information, and product clarifications. Provide technical support to the sales team during client meetings, presentations, and tender clarification stages. Engineering Documentation Produce all AV engineering documentation required for project execution, including but not limited to:Shop drawings System schematics Rack elevations Signal flow diagrams Bills of Materials (BOM) Bills of Quantities (BOQ) Request for Information (RFI) responses Change Orders Installation drawings Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals As-built and project close-out documentation Prepare technical submittals and installation documentation in accordance with project specifications and client requirements. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Audio-Visual (AV) industry, with a strong background in AV system design and pre-sales engineering. Demonstrated experience preparing AV system designs, technical proposals, BOQs, and tender documentation. Strong knowledge of professional AV technologies, including video conferencing, digital signal processing (DSP), AV-over-IP, control systems, and networking fundamentals. Preferred Certifications AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-ICrestron Certification Extron Certification Dante Certification QSC Certification Other recognized professional AV industry certifications are an advantage.
