We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As a key player in our management consulting firm, you will be responsible for supporting the payroll department in processing employee compensation accurately and timely. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including data entry, payroll processing, and compliance with local labor laws. You will work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure that all payroll-related activities align with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  2. Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in payroll status.
  3. Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies in employee hours worked.
  4. Prepare payroll reports and assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  5. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions, providing exceptional customer service.
  6. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software.
  7. Support the HR department in preparing and generating reports related to payroll and employee statistics.
  8. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax-related documentation.
  9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and systems.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive payroll information at all times.

Preferred Candidate:
