Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in payroll status.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies in employee hours worked.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software.
- Support the HR department in preparing and generating reports related to payroll and employee statistics.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax-related documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive payroll information at all times.
