OBJECTIVE
This role contributes to achieving the department's short term objectives through front line on site selling, delivery of high-end customer service in line with brand and division requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all customers receive excellent service through direct salesmanship, and prompt and courteous service
- Greets and welcomes each customer in a courteous and respectful manner
- Assists and attends customers with questions responding and anticipating needs and desirable purchases.
- Tries to upsell and promote brand/ promotions, daily specials
- Prepares merchandise for display as per brand guidelines and standards
- Cleanses and polishes shelves, counters and tables, ensuring facilities are spotless at all times
- Attends weekly sales meetings as directed by Line Management
- Completes each purchase transaction in a quick and efficient manner, issuing customers with corresponding purchasing receipt
- Undertakes monthly inventory and assist management in completion
- Coordinates with drivers to facilitate timely delivery of orders
- Seeks to exceed set monthly sales targets
- Ensures full adherence to internal SOP, Hygiene and Food safety standards
- Seeks to minimize breakages of merchandise, reporting wastage in daily shift log book
- Provides senior management with feedback about arising customer complaints, encountered service issues
- Supports all social media sales initiatives , takes part in new product launches, and marketing campaigns
- Trains new employees in the same job line in other outlets if necessary Ability to work with limited supervision, great team player
- Sound knowledge of sales techniques and best practices
