Duties & Responsibilities:
Operational
Create online media strategy and plan for UDST presence.
Overseeing the development and maintenance of UDST web presence, particularly the web site.
Developing and executing UDST social media strategy, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and any other relevant social media.
Developing and enhancing the Corporate Intranet and managing its administration on an on-going basis.
Maintain a full understanding of digital media topics, technology and functionality including but not limited to social media and Email.
Serves as UDST “online media expert,” remain updated with emerging trends, opportunities, and best practices. Regularly updates colleagues and management on these trends and makes recommendations for new activities.
Creating advertising campaigns for social media platforms including videos and monitoring day-to-day performance of those campaigns and the budgets for each campaign.
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connection and encourages UDST audience to act.
Liaise with all business units to share information and identify up-to-date information and good news stories and accomplishments that can be communicated to strengthen brand positioning.
Monitor external digital news reports and escalate complex issues or negative press to the manager, communications to contribute towards maintenance and protection of the UDST public image.
Analyze and track the UDST website and other social media application user statistics and responses to external media to identify the trends of various marketing initiatives provide feedback to the manager, communications.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Communications, or related field
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language required.
