The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership for a dedicated business group, providing strategic HR guidance and support. This role is pivotal in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, leading organization transformation, driving high performance and fostering high employee engagement.
Accountability & Responsibilities of Role:
Strategic Partnership
Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Talent Management
Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team you will take the lead for recruiting key roles within your dedicated business group
Identify training and development needs and create or procure professional development programs.
Facilitate training / development sessions and workshops.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training / development programs and make improvements as needed.
Employee Relations
- Working closely with the ER Specialist you will support the leadership team in your business group to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Performance Management
- Implement and manage the company performance appraisal system for your business Group
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Work with managers to develop and implement performance improvement plans.
Compensation and Benefits:
Working closely with the Payroll and HR Services team provide guidance on compensation strategies and practices in your business group.
Change Management
- Lead HR-related change initiatives providing HR Expertise ensuring effective communication and implementation and delivering smooth transitions.
- Support managers and employees through organizational changes, providing coaching and guidance.
- Develop change management strategies to support business transformation.
HR Analytics
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction.
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Diversity and Inclusion
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and respect within the organization.
- Monitor and report on diversity metrics and progress.
Innovate and Improve:
Challenge existing methods and introduce innovative solutions to foster continuous improvement within the People & Culture Team and across the organization.
HR Projects:
Lead and manage HR projects such as system implementations, policy updates, and organizational development initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Evaluate project outcomes and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Position Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a strategic HR Business Partner role.
Skills:
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage candidates and stakeholders.
Spoken & Written Arabic is a distinct advantage.
Strong understanding of HR best practices and Qatar labor laws.
Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders.
Experience with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
