PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As an Estimation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various industrial projects, particularly in the Saudi market. With a strong focus on scaffolding, painting, insulation, and refractory services, your expertise will ensure that the company delivers cost-efficient and high-quality services while maintaining profitability. You will collaborate closely with the project management and engineering teams to develop comprehensive estimates that meet client requirements.
ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cost Estimation and Analysis: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for scaffolding, painting, insulation, and refractory services, ensuring competitiveness in the Saudi market.
- Bid Preparation: Lead the preparation of bids and proposals for large-scale industrial projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and budget constraints.
- Market and Supplier Coordination: Source and evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs, especially in the Saudi market, ensuring competitive pricing.
- Project Documentation: Prepare technical and financial proposals in accordance with client requirements, including detailed scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and risk assessments.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to assess project scopes, review technical drawings, and ensure all specifications are accounted for in the estimates.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze historical data and current market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or deadlines.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all estimates comply with regional industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Skills
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer, with specific experience in SCAFFOLDING, PAINTING, INSULATION, and REFRACTORY services. Experience in the SAUDI MARKET is MANDATORY.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using estimation software and tools, with strong understanding of material costs, labor rates, and project timelines in the industrial services sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the scaffolding, insulation, painting, and refractory industries is essential.
- Mechanical Engineering: A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, with sound technical knowledge of industrial project requirements.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prepare detailed and accurate estimates within tight deadlines.
