The Partner and Business Unit Head will oversee the growth and performance of the firm in Qatar. This senior leadership role is responsible for setting strategic direction, driving business development, and ensuring high-quality delivery across consulting practices.
The executive will expand the firm’s market presence, cultivate client relationships, and lead cross-functional teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business leadership, client management, and operational excellence within the consulting industry.
The ideal candidate will have an MBA in Finance or a Professional Qualification in Finance, with 15 years of consulting/advisory experience in Qatar, and a deep understanding of local markets and business practices. The ability to represent the firm at industry events and conferences to enhance its market presence and visibility is crucial. Fluency in Arabic and English is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and strengthen the firm's market presence in Qatar.
- Client Engagement: Lead key client relationships and engagements, ensuring the delivery of tailored, high-impact solutions that meet client needs. Ensure major projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build a robust pipeline, and foster strategic partnerships to expand the firm’s footprint in Qatar.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the delivery of consulting services, maintaining the highest standards of quality and ensuring client satisfaction across all practices.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the operational aspects of the firm’s service lines, including resource allocation, performance monitoring, and process improvements.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor senior team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive the professional development of the consulting team.
- Expert Advisory Services: Provide guidance in GRC, management, technology, tax, and insurance.
- Marketing and Campaigns: Collaborate to create campaigns aimed at boosting revenue and profitability.
- Industry Representation: Represent and promote the firm’s expertise and services at key industry events and conferences.
- Financial Oversight & Profitability: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Qatar operations. Ensure client engagements are profitable by effectively managing costs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
