Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure, including extensive experience with Cisco and Aruba Networks, Avaya Systems, and Firewall Systems (PaloAlto and Fortinet). This role requires in-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies such as HyperV, as well as experience in NMS configurations, DNS/DHCP configurations, and Microsoft Cluster management. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Configure and manage Cisco and Aruba network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
• Integrate and manage Avaya Systems for communication and collaboration solutions.
• Deploy and manage firewall systems, specifically PaloAlto and Fortinet, to protect network integrity and data security.
• Deploy and manage virtualized environments using HyperV to ensure efficient resource utilization and system performance.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Clusters, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Configure and optimize Network Management Systems (NMS) for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage DNS/DHCP configurations to ensure efficient IP address management and network performance.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure seamless integration of network services.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
• Assist in the development of documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Cisco and Aruba Networks.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Extensive experience with Avaya Systems and firewall systems (PaloAlto and Fortinet).
• Proficient in virtualization technologies, specifically HyperV.
• Strong knowledge of NMS configurations
• Strong knowledge of DNS/DHCP configurations
• Experience with Microsoft Cluster configurations and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
