We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Consultant with specialized expertise in U.S. taxation to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of U.S. federal and state tax laws and will also work on Qatar tax compliance. This role requires providing strategic tax advice and compliance services to clients with international operations, particularly those with U.S. tax obligations, while assisting with local Qatar tax matters.

U.S. Taxation:
- · Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- · Provide expert advice on U.S. tax regulations, including FATCA, GILTI, BEAT, and TCJA provisions.
- · Advise expatriates and businesses on cross-border tax issues, such as the application of U.S. tax treaties and foreign tax credits.
- · Ensure compliance with U.S. reporting requirements for foreign assets, income, and business operations.
Qatar Taxation:
- · Get acquainted with Qatar Tax Laws and QFC Law; independently manage tax compliance.
- · Assist with the preparation of Qatar tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- · Support clients during Qatar tax assessments and collaborate with local tax authorities.
- · Provide updates on tax law changes in Qatar and assist clients in navigating international tax treaties and double taxation issues.
General Responsibilities:
- · Staying updated with changes in U.S. and Qatar tax laws
- · Work closely with local tax consultants to provide integrated tax solutions, combining U.S. and Qatar tax expertise.
- · Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge on U.S. and Qatar tax regulations and best practices.
- · Lead or contribute to complex tax projects, ensuring quality and compliance with all relevant laws.

- · Handle international taxation issues and assist with contract reporting and withholding tax (WHT) compliance assignments.
- · Obtain various certificates from Qatar tax authorities, such as tax clearance and tax residency certificates.
- · Deliver comprehensive tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within specified timeframes.
- · Analyze and minimize tax liabilities through tax reduction strategies.
- · Research tax issues, assist with tax audits, and consult with clients, reviewing their tax information and addressing questions and concerns.

Educational Requirements:
- · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
Professional Certifications:
- · Membership in ICAI, ACCA, CPA, or a Master’s degree in Taxation/International Taxation is advantageous.
Work Experience:
- · 3-5 years of tax preparation experience.
