About the role
You will be responsible to ensure that constant maintenance standards applied to QR and Customer aircraft are satisfied to the requirements to QCAR Parts 145, M and 147 and EASA Parts 145 and 147. Supervise as a part of Audit or Investigation team and ensure objective of assigned task are met.
Some of the tasks include:
• Carry out planned and ad-hoc compliance monitoring, audits individually or in a lead role when working in a team to identify and record any finding; initiate/recommend solutions and report audit result to the Manager Compliance & Safety as part of ongoing Compliance & Safety Program.
• Review regulatory changes and update keeping current company technical procedures and manuals (MOE, TPM, ASL, LSM, CAME, MTOE, RAC & Capability register etc.) to maintain compliance to acceptable levels. For this purpose, Senior Compliance & Safety Engineer will liaison with Regulatory Authorities or external parties in coordination with Manager Compliance & Safety.
• Be involved in preparation of Compliance and Safety Notices and Compliance and Safety leaflets and review such documentation if prepared by other Compliance & Safety Engineer.
• Control and maintain company authorization system for authorization approvals to provide staff appropriately qualified and trained as required by QCAR/EASA & Customers regulations. Senior Compliance & Safety Engineer will from time to time be required to review, assess and advise Manager Compliance & Safety on authorisation related queries/issues.
• Participate in Assessment Boards (technical, procedures, and practical) for the purpose of granting / extending / renewing Qatar Airways authorisations for certifying support staff & non-Aircraft authorised staff. Be involved in review of occurrence reports generated from within technical or externally assigned to technical to ensure they are investigated to find the root cause and related recommendation are addressed to mitigate re-occurrence. When part of an investigation team, Senior Compliance & Safety Engineer will be required to lead the team.

Qualifications
About you
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Degree (B. Eng., BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Aeronautical Engineering) or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with ICAO type Il license
• Compliance & Safety / Quality audit training
• QCAA/ EASA Part 145, M, & 147 training
• Detailed knowledge of air legislation, particularly ICAO, QCAA, EASA & FAA Regulations
• Detailed Knowledge of Compliance & Safety/Quality & Safety systems, continued airworthiness and aircraft maintenance fundamentals
• Problem Solving abilities with analytical skills
