Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment:
- Receive and review orders or requisitions for parts and materials.
- Locate and pick parts from inventory according to order specifications.
- Verify parts and quantities to ensure accuracy before packaging.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory of parts and materials.
- Replenish stock levels and report any discrepancies or low inventory levels to management.
- Conduct regular stock checks and participate in inventory audits.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect parts for damage or defects before picking and packaging.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and are correctly labeled.
- Packaging & Shipping:
- Package parts securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare shipping documents and labels as required.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of parts picked, shipped, and received.
- Update inventory management systems with order and stock information.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling parts and operating equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to parts handling and storage.
- Customer Service:
- Assist internal teams and customers with inquiries regarding parts availability and status.
- Provide timely and accurate information to support customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance efficiency in parts picking and inventory management.
- Participate in training sessions and stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
Skills
