The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting IT infrastructure to maintain optimal performance across all subsidiaries & client joint ventures.
Key Accountabilities, Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: Provide first and second-level support to end-users across the subsidiaries and joint ventures of the customer, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Resolve technical issues via phone, email, remote access, and site visits (including remote sites). Document, track, and monitor issues in a ticketing system, escalating complex problems to senior customer IT staff as needed. Assist in the maintenance of IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets. Assist with regular compliance audits and recommend improvements. Collaborate with security teams to ensure systems and tools meet required standards and security benchmarks. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure systems and servers are up to date and support upgrades and patching activities as required. This role requires flexibility to work on-site/ remote-site as per organizational needs, with the possibility of on-call availability for after-hours and during weekend support. Certifications: Preferred Certifications (not mandatory but a plus):Microsoft Certified: Microsoft MCSE, Microsoft MCSA, Modern Desktop Administrator Citrix ITIL Foundation, or similar.
