Sr. Account Manager – Commercial Security

The Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies to grow assigned territory or region. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers as well as manage sales processes. This person will achieve sales targets from existing or new accounts/customers aligned with business initiatives. You will use broadly recognized subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultations and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training.

The Sales Manager drives the sale of products, systems, and services through resellers/channels to achieve sales and profit goals. Identifies and approaches key or strategic partners and sets short and long-term channel strategies. This role will foster reseller satisfaction and performance. This role will manage, maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status through regular business reviews. Additionally, he/ she will analyze competitive intelligence, market trends, and drive business through e-commerce portal. This role is responsible for building relationships and growing the business at existing distributors by selling new and existing applications and helps channel partners win business with new end-customers.

Key Requirements

  • Drive demand and consistently deliver against all revenue and profitability targets for Honeywell Security in Qatar
  • Create, maintain, and develop relationships with Consultants, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) like MOI, and end users across the territory.
  • Penetrate new market or accounts, identify, and develop relationships with the key decision makers, uncover new business opportunities, recommend differentiated solutions, negotiate, and win the business.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans for each SI and key/strategic account with mutually agreed upon goals and actions, conduct quarterly business reviews, monitor and review monthly performance against plan/forecast and lead in-depth reviews to explore variances and needed corrective actions.
  • Working with Partners and key/strategic account stakeholders to drive adoption of our new products & breakthrough initiatives.
  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization including Finance/Pricing, Legal, Customer Success, and Offering Management, etc.
  • Provide Customer inputs regarding market conditions, competitor strategies and industry trends that drive real-time feedback into the business and contributes to the product development process by articulating Voice of Customer and User.
  • Engage in 2-way communication with offering managers and engineering to pass on industry intel, requested NPIs, product feedback, and problem solve issues within the LOB
  • Leverage best in class sales methodology for maximizing sales potential. Follow the details of the Sales Operating System (SOS) with an emphasis on disciplined usage of our CRM, accurate weekly forecasting, monthly pipeline reviews and quarterly walk to plan.

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in related industry
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience in standard productivity software suites (Google, Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Previous experience in Security systems product sales in medium to large projects
  • Existing relationships with key customers
  • Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and influencers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies
  • Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers.
  • Hunter mentality with the ability to drive new sales.
  • Strong and independent organizational skills. (The successful candidate for this position potentially will be managing hundreds of projects at any given time.)
  • Experience working with CRM software - Salesforce is preferred.
