Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chef role based in Doha, Qatar. The Chef will plan and prepare menus, oversee daily food production, and ensure dishes are executed with consistent quality and presentation. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. The role also involves monitoring portion control and cost efficiency, coordinating with front-of-house teams for smooth service, and adapting menus based on guest feedback and seasonal ingredients. The Chef is expected to contribute to recipe development, train junior kitchen personnel, and support a positive, respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills, including expertise in cooking techniques, flavor profiling, and food presentation.
• Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and portion control to support quality and cost management.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation procedures, with a commitment to compliance.
• Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff, delegate tasks effectively, and foster teamwork under pressure.
• Experience in inventory management, ordering, and maintaining kitchen equipment in good working condition.
• Relevant culinary education or professional certification preferred; prior experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders and service periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations.
