Manage multiple internal fit-out projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within approved time, cost, and quality requirements.
Prepare and monitor Project Execution Plans and ensure effective implementation.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Coordinate design teams, consultants, contractors, and MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project integration.
Monitor site progress and performance against approved schedules and project objectives.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports covering achievements, risks, challenges, and recommendations.
Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective action plans.
Supervise consultants and contractors and ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, and approved standards.
Review payment certificates and verify executed quantities in coordination with the commercial team.
Manage variations, claims, and their impact on project cost and schedule.
Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements throughout project execution.
Coordinate with relevant government authorities for required approvals and permits.
Manage project stakeholders and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead progress and coordination meetings and make timely operational decisions.
Oversee project completion, handover, documentation, and operational readiness.
Maintain proper project records, reports, correspondence, and documentation in accordance with document control procedures.
Support the Program Director with strategic recommendations and overall program objectives.
Ensure effective resource allocation while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from a recognized university is mandatory.
Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or a related field is preferred.
PMP certification or equivalent is mandatory.
FIDIC, Construction Management, or Contract Management certification is preferred.
Additional certifications in Risk Management or Planning/Scheduling are advantageous.
12–15+ years of experience in engineering project management.
Minimum 5 years in a Senior Projects Manager or equivalent position.
Proven experience managing Internal Fit-Out Projects, preferably within institutional or governmental environments.
Strong experience in Design & Build project execution.
Good understanding and coordination of MEP systems within fit-out projects.
Previous experience as a Client Representative or PMC/Project Management Consultant is mandatory.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong experience dealing with consultants, contractors, contracts, variations, claims, and project risks.
Experience using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Qatar or GCC project experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Qatar government regulations, approvals, and procedures is advantageous.
