About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with High Voltage Electrical Engineering background (preferably execution of Primary Sub-Stations) to join our Construction Phase Services Team in Doha, Qatar. This role is to lead a Construction Supervision team of Engineers and Inspectors.

The role will support the Core Project Management team with delivery of multiple packages within one project boundary, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance. You will work closely with Project Manager, Technical Director, and other team members to coordinate design review, manage engineering review deliverables, manage site inspections and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing design review and construction supervision activities, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and engineering review teams and ensure timely delivery of submittals and shop drawings upon review.
• Support quality assurance processes, risk management, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and meeting documentation for internal and client reviews.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution by the Construction Contractor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 12-14 years’ experience in project management and construction supervision consultancy services.
• Strong understanding of construction supervision processes, QA/QC, and safety.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
