Job Details


The Electrical Engineer – Facilities is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of all electrical systems within the stadium facilities. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply, safe operation of electrical infrastructure, and compliance with safety regulations during daily operations and major events.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the operation and maintenance of all stadium electrical systems, including HT/LT networks, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, and distribution panels.

  • Ensure reliability and availability of stadium lighting systems, including floodlights, sports field lighting, façade lighting, and emergency lighting.

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.

  • Monitor electrical loads, power quality, and energy consumption; recommend energy-saving initiatives.

  • Support electrical requirements for sporting events, concerts, exhibitions, and other large-scale events.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, equipment failures, and power interruptions.

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance and project execution.

  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and facility management standards.

  • Manage testing and maintenance of emergency power systems, fire alarm interfaces, and life-safety systems.

  • Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, risk assessments, and operational documentation.

  • Participate in facility improvement projects, system upgrades, and capital works planning.

  • Support 24/7 facility operations and emergency response activities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facility management, preferably in stadiums, sports complexes, airports, malls, or large commercial facilities.

  • Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, generators, transformers, UPS, lighting controls, and electrical protection systems.

  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and local regulatory requirements.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in stadiums, arenas, sports facilities, or event venues.

  • Knowledge of sports floodlighting systems and event power distribution.

  • Experience managing electrical operations during major public events.

Reporting To: Facilities Manager / Engineering Manager.
